This compact and affordable drum machine incorporates the waveforms and patterns of the flagship DR-770, while adding features musicians have been asking for: velocity-sensitive pads, a new Bass part, a pad interface designed to emulate a bass guitar fretboard, footswitch control of start/stop and fill-ins, plus Roland’s popular Direct Pattern Play function for triggering patterns ‘on the fly’ from the drum pads.
